'Splash' or reactive Targets
These are speciality targets used mainly to assist in sighting-in a new gun / sight combination at short range. Instead of having to use a spotting scope to view the fall of shot, the target produces a bright yellow 'splash' at the point of impact which can easily be seen by naked eye. These targets are not used for competitions, or 10 metre airgun shooting (as target changers make them unnecessary).
