Even though the 4 shot rotary magazine is in place, the bottom of it is only just visible in this view. This makes for a very smooth exterior appearance to the gun, with one less protrusion to snag on things. The very substantial bolt and firing pin spring can be seen. This model of Ruger is available in .22 Long Rifle (rimfire), .22 Magnum (rimfire), .22 Hornet (centrefire) and .44 Magnum (centrefire).
