Ruger All-Weather K77 .44 Magnum

This gun whilst looking like a fullbore rifle is actually a .44 Magnum carbine. It has a synthetic stock and stainless steel fittings, hence its title. In common with many Ruger carbines it uses a rotary magazine which holds 4 rounds and fits inside the stock under the breech. This is a very strong gun which can use the full potential of the .44 Magnum cartridge. Even so the maximum range for accurate target shooting is around 300 yards, due to the quite rapid fall-off in velocity of the not very streamlined bullets. A major problem for long range shooting is the lack of elevation adjustment available in the telescopic sights, you tend to run out of 'clicks' beyond 300 yards.
