9mm Southern Gun (close-up)

In this shot the gun is wearing a 'red dot' sight. These sights project a red dot into the eyepiece and this dot is placed over the target to give the point of aim. Red dot sights are particularly useful for rapid fire events as they are very quick to use and place over the target. In this view the pistol grip is shown partly folded. Compare this shot with the one showing the gun with the 'as fitted' open sights.
