.44 Magnum revolver (Ruger)
This is an example of a very strong gun, easily capable of accepting magnum loads for long distance shooting. Long distance, in revolver terms means 100 yards and above, so this gun is shot mostly outdoors. It should be remembered that a normal bullet weight for the .44 magnum is 240 grains, so this gun / ammunition combination is good at combating cross winds.
