Please note that Marple Rifle and Pistol Club is a purely a paper target shooting club and we do not do Field Target shooting with air guns at this time (we have nothing against it at all, but we do not do it).
For those that do not know what it is, Field Target shooting is done outdoors, usually against knock-down silhouettes of small animals, such as rabbits and squirrels. The normal calibre of air gun used, is a .22 air rifle equipped with telescopic sights, range finder, parallax correction and limited to a maximum of 12 ft-lbs energy.
If you wish to take up Field Target shooting in the Stockport area, then try:- Stockport and District Airgun Club on: 0161 431 5826 and ask for Roy Pearson, or alternatively: 0161 442 0465 and ask for Richard Lees.
Stockport and District Airgun Club can also be contacted by e-mail at: pearsons@supanet.com or howie6012@ntlworld.com
Please mention that you found out about them via this website.
If any of the above contacts change, please email the new details to: enquiries@marplerifleandpistolclub.org.uk
